Keyworkers Letter

Keyworkers Letter

Dear Parents/Carers

Good morning

I made you aware on Wednesday 18th March that after this Friday afternoon, Daubeney Academy will be closed until further notice, except for children of ‘key workers’ and the most vulnerable. Many parents have provided us with information on their job role and express their interest in a child-care setting being established. I will be contacting those parents today.
If your job role is not within one of these categories, I am unable to provide childcare.

If your work is critical to the COVID-19 response, or you work in one of the critical sectors listed, and you cannot keep your child safe at homeplease get in touch urgently if you now feel you are eligible and did not previously express this.

Please be patient as the school seeks to organise this in a very limited time frame.
The most recent scientific advice on how to further limit the spread of COVID-19 is clear. If children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.

Kind regards

Mr M Lee
Head of School
